Bad Trip is an instrumental album from Kenora’s very own Nich Longe. This release is a creepy, dark, and heavy adventure that’s best experienced as whole 16 minute outing. Bad Trip has symphonic compositions weaved between heavy metal instrumental songs which compliment Nich’s orchestral roots as well as his experience performing heavy metal music.

This album may be the heaviest release that Kenora has ever had. If you enjoy the heaviest type of metal and dark orchestral video game sound tracks… This is the perfect 16-minutes for you.

Here’s what Nich had to say in his won words…

“I’ve always been obsessed with the dark side of life and experiences. The most impactful moments of my life are traumatic moments of loss or psychedelic bad trips. They’ve always left their mark on me and I’ve carried the lessons of these moments into my daily life, and I’m thankful for their perspective they’ve provided me. 

Bad Trip is my attempt at bottling the emotions and visuals experienced in these low moments and scary states of mind. I hope you can hear the fear, the intensity, the chaos, and the insights within these 16 minutes of music.

The album, in my opinion, is best experienced in one of two ways.

1. Under the influence.

2. In total darkness, with headphones on, and with the volume turned up.

Please enjoy responsibly. Remember… The darkness we experience in life can help us grow if we’re paying attention to it. It has the ability to make us stronger. Use this album as a way to grow through negativity… Or as I always say, “Positivity through negativity.”
